One of my favourite Oz/NZ band names was Split Enz - zany antics but great
musicians, incl the Finn brothers. It was the forerunner of Crowded House,
another cool name.
The Mothers of Invention was cool.
There's a comedic duo called Trio Ringbarkus >g< and a talented friend is in
The Sensitive New-age Cowpersons, a satirical c&w band.
... and Galapagus Duck, an Australian jazz band, long gone methinks.
The name should come out of the band - should, dare I say it, strike a chord
with all of them.
