Website: http://workshops.icts.sbg.ac.at/chi2008ampers/
Position papers are invited on the theoretical foundations and the
design of Ambient Persuasion in different contexts and application areas
such as health and sustainability.
Submissions are invited on the following topics:
* Theoretical foundations of Ambient Persuasion
* Frameworks and heuristics for the design of persuasive AmI
applications
* User experience in persuasive ambient environments
* Application areas for ambient persuasive technologies
* Case studies and examples of ambient persuasive systems
* Methods and tools for research on Ambient Persuasion
* Ethical and privacy questions regarding Ambient Persuasion
This workshop wants to address these issues by bringing together
practitioners and researchers from different domains interested in the
potential of Ambient Intelligence for persuasion. We will select
participants with diverse backgrounds based upon the relevance,
insightfulness, and originality of their submissions.
Submissions are expected in the form of 4 page position papers,
describing the area of research, specific work (empirical or
theoretical) on the workshop topic and the innovative character of the
research at hand. At least one author of accepted papers needs to
register for the workshop and for one day of the conference itself.
Workshop Organizers:
Wolfgang Reitberger (University of Salzburg, HCI & Usability Unit)
Manfred Tscheligi (University of Salzburg, HCI & Usabilty Unit) Boris de
Ruyter (Philips Research Europe) Panos Markopoulos (TU/e)
We would be happy if you are interested in participating in our workshop
and consider to submit a position paper.
