DPC/PADI What's New in Digital Preservation - Issue 16 available
Issue no. 16 (April - August 2007) of the DPC/PADI "What's New in Digital
Preservation" bulletin is now available from the Digital Preservation

"What's New" is a summary of selected recent activity in the field of
digital preservation, compiled by Najla Semple for the Digital Preservation
Coalition (DPC) and Gerard Clifton of the National Library of Australia.
Items are compiled from the Preserving Access to Digital Information (PADI)
Gateway and the digital-preservation and padiforum-l mailing lists,
although additional or related items of interest may also be included.
Issue 16 features news from a range of organisations and initiatives,
including the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC), Digital Curation Centre
(DCC), JISC (UK), The National Archives (UK), DigitalPreservationEurope,
nestor, the Koninklijke Bibliotheek (National Library of the Netherlands),
the US National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program
(NDIIPP), and the PLANETS and CASPAR projects.
The bulletin also includes summaries of recent publications on the themes
of digital preservation directions, repositories, web archiving, digital
object models, preservation metadata and more.
