A couple of little suggestions:
1) When you start up analysis with no project then virtually everything
in greyed out, and you have to open a project to get anything to work
(including changing web browser ...). Would it be better that if you
fire up analysis with no project it prompts you with a helpful window
saying you almost certainly need to open a new project (even if you just
want to have a quick look at a spectrum), and giving you the option to
do it there, (or letting you go to the "open project" window if your
intention is to open a project via the GUI. **This would help the new user**
2) I have ended up with more than one copy of analysis running on my
screen. (Can this cause any problems?? As a side Q: Is there any lock
put on a project when it is open ? Could another user open it at the
same time and cause havoc ?). They were for two different projects. When
you quit analysis and it asks you if you want to save the project it
would be helpful to be told the name of the project file that it is
about to save, so that you do not end up quitting and saving (or not!)
the wrong project.
Regards
Jeremy
