Subject: GridPP19 Collaboration Meeting, 29th-31st August 2007
Dear All,
The 19th GridPP Collaboration Meeting will be held on 29th-31st
August 2007 at Ambleside, hosted by the University of Lancaster.
The outline programme of the meeting is now available via
http://www.gridpp.ac.uk/gridpp19/
There is a pre-meeting of the PMB and DTeam on Tuesday 28th August.
The main meeting starts at 11am on Wednesday and finishes at lunchtime
on Friday (esp. for those who are travelling on to CHEP pre-meetings).
The theme of the meeting is "Its the end of GridPP(2) as we know it".
(This particular meeting has been long-planned and was intended to mark
the end of GridPP2.) We're now looking forward to the transition from
GridPP2 to GridPP3: three discussion sessions are planned covering the
user, deployment and middleware perspective. We've also incorporated
GridPP's Grand Day Out, making the meeting somewhat more relaxed than
usual.
Registrations are now open via
http://www.gridpp.ac.uk/gridpp19/registration.html
Could you register as soon as possible and, recognising that your holidays
may intervene, before the deadline of Wednesday 15th August. This will
enable arrangements to be made for your accommodation in Ambleside, your
coach or rambling trip, and the composition of the panels for the
discussion sessions.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
Cheers, Tony
