One member of The Movement whom I knew quite well liked to drink but
probably never suffered from delirium tremens. I was hoping for readings
like yours, so thanks for the input. Yvor Winters' story "The Brink of
Darkness" bears on this matter as well, as are first-hand accounts of
drinking with YW which I've heard.
