Dear VBM-gurus,
the VBM 5.1 version gives the writing option of _not_ using priors.
We are conducting a VBM-study with children and are using (now) the child
templates from www.irc.cchmc.org/ped_brain_download.htm.
As the help says one can use this option to avoid problems with the standard
ICBM template, is it still necessary if you use spezialized priors in the
estimation options?
If yes:
As our subject group overlaps all subgroups of the child templates we are
using the average (all groups male and female) template which does not fit
exactly. Is it in this case advisable to use the "no priors option"?
Regards and thanks for any hint,
Roland
