That conflicts with feedback we had about the CLA Training day at our
patch meeting. I think it all depends whether the donation is an
institutional subscription or a personal subscription. The former
should be covered but the latter is not.

An issue that has been discussed by librarians recently. Staff often
offer back copies of journals to libraries when they have finished
reading them. Is it (a) legal for the library to accept these offers and
add these copies to staock, and (b) legal subsequently to photocopy
articles from such issues, subject to the surrent copyright legislation?
