This visit to Psalter Lane Learning Centre offers a fascinating insight
into both art history and the latest innovations in multimedia information
provision. It promises to add a unique dimension to the portfolio of
anyone preparing for Chartership, Revalidation or Certification, and be an
interesting afternoon for anyone interested in culture and the visual arts.
Through its various incarnations, Psalter Lane Learning Centre has
satisfied the information needs of art & design education in Sheffield
since early Victorian times. The site houses severally nationally
important collections (including drawings by George Fullard and 2000+
items from the Festival of Britain), and many works dating back to the
18th century. This is likely to be the last organised visit to this
historic site before it relocates to modern premises in 2008.

books.
- Talk about IPTV, Sheffield Hallam’s innovative system for making its
