Don't delay if you want to reclaim your work
A call has gone out to all pupils who attended Luton Modern School and
Luton Grammar School when they were based in Bradgers Hill Road to claim
their school files if they want to save them from destruction.
Luton Sixth form College, which now occupies the site, no longer has the
space to store all the old files from its predecessors, so is planning
to burn them in two weeks' time.
Anyone who would like to have their personal file can apply in writing,
explaining that they are the pupil or the next of kin of a pupil and
quoting their school number if known.
Applicants should enclosing a self-addressed A4 envelope with either 65p
(1st class) or 53p (second class) in stamps on it.
Contact Carol Mansell, Senior Student Administrator, Luton Sixth Form
College, Bradgers Hill Road, Luton, LU2 7EW.
Plans to build a new college building to replace the current ones are to
be discussed by Luton Borough Council's development control committee
today, Wednesday.
