A special session at The Sixth IASTED International Conference on
Biomedical Engineering ~BioMED 2008~ organised by Bart Jansen and Rudi
Deklerck from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium
The goal of this special session is to gather leading geriatrists,
engineers, and computer scientists in order to discuss the latest
technological aids for assessing ADL scales. This workshop is seeking

cost of diagnosing and monitoring patients. On the other hand, engineers
are asked to submit papers proposing technical solutions for ADL
assessment, including wireless sensor networks or vision based
approaches.
Important dates:
* September 15, 2007 * Paper submission
