The iPED Research Network www.coventry.ac.uk/iped is pleased to invite you to join us for the 2nd International iPED Conference which will focus is on 'Academic Futures' for staff and students through its themes of globalisation, emergent pedagogies and leading academic learning.
Our programme and planning for September are now well advanced. We would like to encourage you to join researchers, practitioners, academic management and educational technologists who will explore our themes collegially.
Last year's iPED Conference involved colleagues from well over 100 institutions, and from 25 nations, in roles as peer reviewers, authors, presenters and delegates. iPED 2007 has built on this success. Our keynote talks from Professor Sir David Watson, Institute of Education at the University of London & Professor Paul Trowler, Lancaster University will be complemented by a virtual address by the Director of the United Nations University (UNU): Global Virtual University (GVU), Harald Holt.
Our conference dinner will be held in an elegant private dining room at the "unique and inspirational venue" of Coombe Abbey http://www.coombeabbey.com/ .
