it gives more the idea of some horrible girls all raggedy and with bandy
legs,
the fact that Bob is so kind to say: "not raggedy bandy"
(_which is true_ by the way :-)
makes of it a lovely snap.
I also like the fact that the entire community, or part of it is directly or
indirectly addressed, especially since the community stands also for the
audience. A sure way to attract the public's attention is to point some out,
it raises tension because anyone can be pointed out and criticized or
praised, according to the author's benevolent (or malevolent) intention.
