I apologize but I made a mistake in my last email - I said..."In my opinion
it looks like setting up an "individual account" not a "group account" and
networking that way is probably best. What I meant to say was it might be
best to setup a group account of museums and have individual personal
accounts representing the organizations/museums.

account" and networking that way is probably best.
- I copied the email sent to me from FaceBook after they deleted my account
for your interpretation:
"Hi,
Facebook profiles are intended for use by a single individual. Groups,
clubs, and other types of organizations are not permitted to maintain an
account. I apologize for the inconvenience, but you will no longer be
able to use this account.
Thanks for your understanding,

Facebook"
I know that originally Facebooks started at Ivy Leagues Schools primarily ,
Harvard, Cornell, Princeton, Penn so on...for freshman to have pictures of
there classmates to recognize. I'm not sure what some of the universities
in the UK do? Anyway, it eventually evolved to the internet and was only
for use by certain universities if you had personal email account of those
schools -- so that is there methodology.
When I talked with FaceBook they didn't seem the least bit interested in
non-profits such as museums participating as organizations. Will FaceBook
be eventually bought and that methodology changed? Possibly, but for now in
my opinion it looks like setting up an "individual account" not a "group
account" and networking that way is probably best.
As for me, I setup my account using my Harvard email address and there were
a lot of people singing up as friends because they were interested in the
podcast, blog, and other directories I have on my website because it
allowed them access to a lot of museums and information - it was well
intentioned but I naively went about it the wrong way as did a few other
museums. FaceBook cleared my account and setup a personal account with my
Harvard address which was actually very nice of them to do when I asked.
- I included a link to help explain a little about FaceBook at:
