Dear Bradley
I am a structural geologist at the The Australian National
University. My interests lie in fault mechanics, fault growth and
fault interactions with crustal fluids, with application to mineral
deposit formation, earthquake dynamics, geothermal fluids, CO2
storage/leakage and groundwater. I have been using a combination of
field work and simple numerical modelling to relate aftershocks
generated around fossil fault systems to the location of gold
deposits.
I am interested in the position you are advertising. Could you tell
me of ongoing research initiatives and research teams that I ought to
consider working with if I was to apply for the position?
Thanks
STeve
