Dear SPM users
In order to create a z-image from a single subject modulated GM segment we
averaged the GM segments of a group and computed also a standard deviation
image of that group. Because we are working with modulated images there is
some smoothing in both the single and the average GM segment. Because of
averaging there is some additional "smoothing" and we decided not to smooth
the average GM segment again. But we want to adjust the single subject GM
segment by the same amount of smoothing that was introduced during averaging
of the GM segments of the group.
Is it possible to estimate the smoothness in an image at all?
And how to estimate the smoothness that was introduced by averaging images?
Is there any script to estimate the smoothness in an image?
Thanks in advance
Best regards
