Good morning
I am currently trying to develop a service level agreement (SLA) for our
Records Management Service, as we are a corporate service recharged to the
Directorates, so we need to tighten up on our Performance Management.
The only examples of SLAs within the Council are IT-based, and although
these are very useful from a structural point of view, they don't really
help me with advice on content. I am very conscious that this is the sort
of document where, if there are any loopholes, they will be exploited, so
I want it to be as watertight as possible.
Has anyone had any experience of writing an SLA for a Records/Information
Management Service? What sort of things did you include? What advice could
you give me?
I have had a quick search through the listserver archives, but it doesn't
seem to have been covered in any great detail before, so I am happy to
summarise any responses for the list.
Thank you all very much in advance.
Heidi
