Dear All, 

At Thinktank, most materials produced staff follow the attched
guidelines. Where there are exceptions - for example our Events &
Activities Guide which contains a lot of text - a large print version is
kept at the ticket desk and is advertised on various materials/ website.


These guidelines have been created following advice from the RNIB and
Mencap - both carry these guidelines on their websites.

Colour is important too.  Apart from the more obvious combinations to
avoid (e.g. those affecting colour-blindness) does anyone know any
up-to-date information on good colour combinations for 'hand-held'
literature?

As for fonts, may I add Helvetica and Gill Sans to the list.  Verdana
also which works well on paper and on screen.
