Hello,
We are just about to purchase a small cluster for our processing needs
running FSL. I would like to use CentOS because of its increase in
stability...as opposed to Fedora Core but was wondering if there was an
FSL download that was compatible with this, and if so what it is?
Another (for sale) option is Red Hat Enterprise -is the latest version
of FSL compatible with RH Enterprise 4 or 5 or both? I couldn't
decipher from past posts if folks were having issues with CentOS or
not, but they used the RedHat 9 binary?...we use most toolboxes
available in the FSL package.
What would you recommend for an operating system on a cluster mainly
utilizing FSL tools?
One other question: For FSL4.0 with parallelization capabilities - do
we need to do anything special (install any specific MPIs) to take
advantage of this parallelization code?
Can't wait for the new version to be released!
Thanks kindly,
Kelly Brown
