Dear list members
We have just published the SAFER UK report on preventing sexual
maltreatment of unaccompanied asylum seeking minors (see below).
Following on from this study, Professor Papadoloulos and I are writing a
research proposal to undertake a training needs analysis for health and
welfare professionals regarding child sexual abuse of asylum seeking/
refugee children.
As this is a sensitive issue we wish to propose using a data collection
method that participants would feel most comfortable with. We would be
very grateful if you would help us identify this by selecting from the
following list one or more methods that you would prefer were used to
ascertain your personal and professional views on the issue. Please
respond using just the corresponding letters if you wish.
Many thanks for your help
A) Personal interview
B) Telephone interview
C) Self completion questionnaire
D) Focus group discussion
E) Another method - please specify
With regards
Maggie Lay
