OPEN MEETING OF THE THOMAS CHATTERTON SOCIETY
The Muniment Room, North Porch, St Mary Redcliffe Church, Redcliffe,
Bristol
5.15 to 6.15 pm, Friday 27 July 2007
BARS/NASSR delegates and others are welcome to join us in an open
meeting, to plan future Chatterton Society activities in Bristol and
elsewhere, and to discuss how 'Redcliffe Futures' plans for the
development of the area may affect the legacy of Thomas Chatterton
(including the house where the poet was born in 1752).
We shall be meeting in the famous 'Muniment Room' where Chatterton
discovered the manuscripts that helped inspire his Rowley poems, and
where there is now a small display of Chatterton materials.
Profs. John Goodridge and Nick Groom
