Dear SPM users,
As a student I am having the following doubts. If
you could explain the same, it will be helpful to me
to understand the basic concepts.
1. How the design matrix values (regressors
values)are calculated after the model specification?
At the same time why the matrix values are different
while we are defining the contrast?
2. What is purpose of providing the FT (Fourier
Transform) of each regressors and how is it
calculated?
3. I worked with the fMRI images acquired in two
sessions -
1. Rest Act1 Rest Act2 Rest (total 180 volumes)
2. Rest Act3 Rest Act4 Rest (total 120 volumes)
- if i process each session separately with two
different design matrix (df is 114)and both the
session simultaneously with one design matrix (df is
288) through SPM99, I am getting two different
t-value activation pattern as a result. Which one
should be considered and why?
Thanking you
With regards
S.Thiru,
