CHANGING FACE, SAVING SPACE: PLACES STILL AVAILABLE!
Our next event will take place at Sheffield Hallam University on the 14th June 2007.
"Changing face, saving space" will be useful for all library and resource centre staff who are thinking about redeveloping their library space.
Speakers include Margaret Weaver, St Martin's College; Annie Kilner, Northumbria University; and Maurice Teasdale, Ann Betterton and Liz Aspden, Sheffield Hallam University.
About this event:
There is currently much debate about the type of learning environments we should be providing in libraries and resource centres in higher and further education. The new trends towards flexible space and enabling technologies impact on the way we develop library space, whether via new build or redevelopment of existing accommodation. And given the demands to create more flexible and social space, what do we do with the book stock? The speakers at this event represent a variety of approaches to the creation of new learning spaces.
If you are interested in attending this event (cost £45 plus VAT pp. including lunch, refreshments, and use of an excellent new area at Sheffield Hallam), please contact:
