Our audit trail would be a 'by implication' one where the file setup
date is known as is the retention period and a 'Destroyed' marker in set
on the record.  At the moment this record is then kept for ever, and
ever, and ever . . . . . . . . . . . but forms part of our registry
database as a whole.

I was just wondering for how long you keep audit trails of records 
destroyed or does anyone know of any guidelines?
