A vacancy has arisen within the University’s E-Learning Development Team
for the position of Learning Technologist. This post is a permanent
appointment and provides an opportunity to help design and deliver learning
technology training and support services to staff across the university.
You will be part of a small team of outstanding talent working to the
highest standards and best practices for online learning. The post provides
an opportunity to shape the development of an exciting new project, with
scope for initiative and for personal development.
The post requires excellent oral and written communication skills to
champion the use of learning technology to staff. The successful candidate
will have a demonstrable ability to communicate with academics from a wide
range of disciplines. The post also requires a sound awareness of
pedagogical issues and best practices for on-line learning, as well as
familiarity with a range of web tools and approaches to blended course
design and delivery.
