Applications are invited for a postdoctoral scientist to work with
Professor Kim Graham on an Alzheimer's Research Trust funded research
programme investigating the role of medial temporal lobe regions in
memory and perception. You will be experienced in functional
neuroimaging and neuropsychological techniques, and be involved in the
implementation and analysis of fMRI studies in healthy participants (old
and young) and in patients with dementia (Mild Cognitive Impairment,
Alzheimer's disease and semantic dementia).
You will have access to state-of-the-art cognitive neuroscientific
facilities, including on-site fMRI and methodological/statistical
expertise (within the Cardiff University Brain Research Imaging Centre),
as well as neuropsychological patient cohorts involving collaborations
with clinical colleagues in Cardiff. The position will provide the
candidate with a supportive cognitive neuroscientific environment in
which to develop and enhance their research skills in the field of memory.
This post is fixed-term for 2 years.
