I seem to recollect Section 224 of the Local Government Act 1972 or
something similar - about having to take proper control of documents?

Hi all,
A slightly unusual request but I am trying to reference a quote I have
and thought it was from the Public Records Act 1958, but for the life of
me can't find it in there now.
The quote is:
"All information or data created or received by 'Public Bodies' is a
record and must be managed........."
If anyone could tell me where this is from and the section I would be
extremely grateful.
