As the founder of The Common Ground Partnership, I’m looking to appoint a
curator and a jury panel for our international touring digital art
exhibition called Common Ground [see www.CommonGround2008.com].
Having monitored this NEW-MEDIA-CURATING forum for a few months, I’m now
sufficiently impressed with the level of integrity and professionalism
from its members, that I’d like to seek your advice. We’re already
receiving inquiries - even submissions - from artists around the world.
Your thoughts, your support, your recommendations would be most welcome.
I'll keep it brief in this post: Please see the simple overview below and
check out the site.
Common Ground is a digital art exhibition, where the theme of each of the
pieces is environmental stewardship. The selected art will be shown at our
premier exhibit in Beijing in the summer of 2008, and then in galleries,
universities and museums in Asia, Europe and America through 2010. It will
be the focus of a media campaign aimed at print, broadcast and online
media. Revenue from the collection’s limited edition prints will, of
course, flow to the artists, with a portion being donated to non-profit
organizations that support environmental projects worldwide.
I look forward to your input.
