on Wednesday 4th July 6-7.45pm at the Ewart Room, CILIP HQ
CDG is a partner on the African Prison Project (APP). "The objective of the APP is the promotion of education and health in African Prisons, through the construction of libraries and renovation of medical facilities within the prison environment".
The APP aims to build a 100,000 book library for the country's 14,000 prison inmates, with the help of CDG International and CILIP's wider community.
Come and find out more from APP's funder and 2006 UK Charity Volunteer of the Year, Alexander McLean, at the launch of the Zambia Prisons Library Project.
After the main talk there would be time for informal questions and to chat to Alexander and other international minded professionals over a glass of wine.
This is free event, however a £3 voluntary donation to CDG International Fund is kindly requested.
