Dear all,
The 2007 AGM of the Health Libraries Group of CILIP will take place on
Friday 29th June at 2pm.
This will be held during the Umbrella 2007 conference, DeHavilland
Campus, University of Hertfordshire, in room N206.
The AGM will be preceded by the following event at 1pm:
"Our libraries, our services, our say : promoting the role of library
and information services in public health" (HLG AGM Plus)
HLG members and Umbrella delegates from all sectors are invited to an
interactive session debating the contribution that librarians and
library services can make to promoting healthy lifestyles and patient
choice.
Following an update on NHS Choices (the new patient information super
site), you will be asked to discuss and share ideas for CILIP to weave
into its future work programme on libraries and public health.
Speaker: Bob Gann, NHS Choices Head of Content Strategy. Bob Gann is
seconded to the Dept of Health Choices Programme from NHS Direct.
Introduced by CILIP Public Health Group - Alan Fricker (Past Chair HLG),
