italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
the final version of the conference programme is now ready and you can
access it from the confrence site: http://www.bangor.ac.uk/~mls023/
For those of you who have reserved a room through the University, you
can go straight to the Friddoedd site when you arrive. You can obtain
the keys to your room either from the Reception Site (n. 22 on the map)
or Croeso Welcome Bangor Office (n. 28). If you arrive on Wednesday, you
may want to come to the Main Arts Building (n. 42)and register with us
first, as we can assist you in finding the place where you are staying.
The conference takes place in the Main Arts Building.

For those of you coming by car, the code to access our car parks is:
1387. You will need a permit. You can get one from us when you register
for the conference. Alternatively, you might get one from the Reception
Site or Coreso Welcome Bangor Office.
The Main Arts Block is located on College Road (LL57 2DG). For those of
you travelling by car and requiring directions, please consult the AA
route planner: http://www.theaa.com/travelwatch/planner_main.jsp
If you are coming by train, both the Main Arts Building and the
Friddoedd Site are within walking distance (approximately 10/15
minutes). Taxis are not expensive so if the weather is bad (obviously
not likely) you may want to consider that alternative. You can usually
find several taxis just outside the station. However, should you arrive
at a busy time you can also call one of the following numbers:
Ace & Gwynns Taxis

All receipts will be included in your conference pack as the University
is invoincing the School of Modern Languages. In this way you avoid
paying VAT.
Should you have any problems, my mobile numeber is: 0044 (0)7891 865874
Alternatively, you can ring our secretary, Ms Moira Tait: 0044 (0)1248

I wish you a safe journey and I look forward to seeing you soon.
Grazie mille a tutti.
Cordialmente,
