British Geophysical Association Post-Graduate Research in Progress Meeting

The BGA is holding its annual Post-graduate research in progress meeting
this year at Cardiff University.

The conference is aimed at post-graduates at all stages of their studies.
We encourage all students to attend as it will provide an excellent
opportunity to meet fellow peers and will be a friendly environment
to present research.
The conference is open to ALL aspects of geophysics; including
seismology, geodynamics, planetary science, tectonics, geodesy,
electrical methods, physical oceanography, hydrology, glaciology,
petrophysics, atmospheric science, land use monitoring and
management, geoenvironmental techniques, climate change,
geoarchaeology and 3D seismic interpretation.
The two confirmed invited speakers are:
The annual Bullerwell Lecture will be given by Dr. Glenn Milne (Durham
University); Climate driven sea-level change.
The second invited speaker is Dr. Gareth Collins (Imperial College); Impact
crater modelling
Accommodation will be provided by Cardiff University at affordable rates.

and social programme will be held on Monday the 3rd September, and
an ice-breaker on Sunday evening 2nd September.
