Hi Guido,
the SPARC V9 is only the cpu architecture. In the prtconf output you
should find something like:
Node 0xf0071ec8
clock-frequency: 3e95ba80
manufacturer#: 0000003e
implementation#: 00000018
mask#: 00000024
l2-cache-sharing: 00000000.00000002
#dtlb-entries: 00000010
l1-dcache-associativity: 00000004
l1-dcache-line-size: 00000020

l1-icache-associativity: 00000004
l1-icache-line-size: 00000020
l1-icache-size: 00008000
sparc-version: 00000009
reg: 00000001
compatible: 'SUNW,UltraSPARC-IV'
device_type: 'cpu'
name: 'cpu'
l2-cache-associativity: 00000002
l2-cache-line-size: 00000080
l2-cache-size: 00800000
cpuid: 00000010
Please search this info in the prtconf-output (should appear 4 or 8
times). You could also send me the output as personal email.
What are your GCC parameters? Any optimization?
Greetings, Jens
