Dear Caroline,
I work as a commercial librarian but our company does not have a corporate
book club. I am curious as to what exactly a corporate book club does or
what you would expect it to do?
Staff in my company who have written books or papers do not seem to openly
discuss their publications and ask for feedback. They will have been
peer-reviewed but, because a lot of it is very specialised, these peers
would be limited to their own department, therefore I'm not sure a 'formal'
book club would be required to discuss publications.
The only book club that I know of is from BSRIA (Building Services Reasearch
and Information Association) - see link. But I'm not sure if this is the
sort of book club you are looking for?
