Dear All
We had the same problem at Birkbeck. After going to and fro between
Oxford and Athens and not getting an answer we managed to work out a
solution. Although we ask our students to sign in through Athens on our
website before going on to the relevant journal, it seems that this
wasn't being picked up by Oxford. We have found out that if they log-in
again with Athens on the OUP site, THEN they can have access to our
titles. So although it is far from ideal, we have found that asking our
students to log-in twice has done the trick. I hope that helps.
Many Thanks,

Hi Saraj,
We at the University of Salford have also been experiencing problems
with Athens off campus access. Basically, you get to the PDF download
screen and it asks if you want to sign in, sign in with Athens or pay
per view. When you select sign in with Athens it brings up the sign in
screen and works fine but instead of being taken to the full text you
are sent back to the PDF download screen. It has not been resolved yet
but I have been in contact with OUP yesterday so I hope to hear
something soon. I will let you know.

Subject: Oxford University Press Journals/Athens
Hi all,
Some weeks ago, someone posted to this list reporting that they were
having trouble accessing OUP Journals off-campus. I was just wondering
if any resolution to that problem had been found. I only ask as we seem
to be having the same problems here, and was wondering if anywhere along
the line there was a quick and easy solution!
Any help greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.
Best wishes,
Saraj
