I don't know if you already know about this online disability poetry
journal called Wordgathering. Wordgathering is produced by members of
the Inglis House Poetry Workshop, a collaborative of writers with
disabilities who reside at Inglis House in Philadelphia, Pa.
I just found out Wordgathering will have a piece by Jim Ferris, one of
the editors of the Journal of Literary Disability, in their upcoming
June issue.
The address is www.wordgathering.com.
As an enthusiastic reader, I am always glad to see resources that have
to do with literature and disability. Wordgathering looks like a very
interesting contribution to the field of disability literature even if
it is not as "sophisticated" as Journal of Literary Disability. Give
it time and with lots of publicity and contributions it can only get
better, and in fact be an excellent complement to Journal of Literary
Disability,
By the way, if you can think of anyone, that may be interested in
contributing to Wordgathering, please pass on the information.
Cheers,
Dawna
