Yes, they have never had any interest in OSF (HPUX once).

There are a lot of GAIA/Starlink specific fixes, especially to the build
system, but I've been in contact with Allan Brighton anyway. Seems he's
off doing a non-astronomy job so there's no interest in this at ESO, at
least for the present.
