vector column eh? no problem for STIL, but in general, what a terrible
idea. It's the IVOA interop week after next where this will get
discussed. I would plan to lobby in the DAL session for it to be
two scalars, but I'm going to be too busy either in the apps
messaging debate or with a wet towel wrapped round my head.
