Dear Ralph,
you will need to
1) compile the mex files (the sources and a Makefile are in the src/
folder of SPM5
2) edit spm_platform.m to add sol64 to the list of supported platforms.
I don't see any reason why it should not work. If it works for you feel
free to send me spm_platform.m and the mex files to include them into
SPM5.
