You will be responsible for:
* maintaining a strong international profile in the History of Medicine
* maintaining a strong portfolio of externally funded projects
* developing the careers of less senior scholars in the Centre for Health, Medicine and Society
* undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
* departmental and Centre administration
You should have:
* a PhD or equivalent in History, History of Medicine or a closely related field
* an internationally recognised research profile
* a strong RAE return
* strong links with the thematic priorities of the Centre for Health, Medicine and Society
* an ability to make links from the History of Medicine to the wider thematic priorities of the Department of History
