Hello, does the museums sector have any policies for, or documented studies of, the use of open-source software? I.e. an equivalent to http://www.bbc.co.uk/opensource/ (BBC) or http://publications.becta.org.uk/display.cfm?resID=25907 (Becta)?
I've found JISC's policy with regards to funding (http://www.jisc.ac.uk/fundingopportunities/open_source_policy.aspx) but was wondering if anything broader had been produced by the MLA or MDA, particularly with regards to encouraging a culture of sharing between museums.
Thanks,
Fiona
