Nigel Hunt has been a Charter Mark Assessor for six years and has assessed over 250 different organisations in that time, including three of the University Libraries in the North that hold the Charter Mark. He has recent personal experience of using a University Library and as a customer wishes they all had the Charter Mark!
Philip Payne has been Librarian at Birkbeck, University of London, since December 2004. In his previous post as Head of Learning Support Services at Leeds Metropolitan University, he was involved in a successful application for Charter Mark and for subsequent reaccreditation. He is now working with colleagues at Birkbeck in preparing for a Charter Mark application.
Judith Preece is the Library Manager at UEL's Dockland's Campus and has worked for the university for 28 years. Alison Egan is the Head of Student Experience in Student Services at UEL. Together they formed part of the university-wide working group that was responsible for UEL's successful Charter Mark application in 2006.
