Dear Dr. Matar,
Thinking further about your question, and further also my email of a
few minutes ago, the thought crosses my mind that you might like to
look at some LAND boundary delimitation agreements. Some of those
that provide for demarcation on the ground also give powers to the
mixed boundary commission to make (usually minor) changes to the
boundary stipulated in the treaty if the latter proves impossible or
inconvenient to apply on the ground.
