With this in mind the School of Politics and International Studies is developing a centre of research excellence by building on its existing strengths in the area of Security, Development and Democracy.
>As a central part of this initiative the School is making three appointments to contribute to this interdisciplinary research agenda, as
>well as provide expertise in their specific subject area. For all three posts, you will have a Ph.D. with research and teaching experience
>appropriate to a post at this level. You will teach modules at BA and MA level, supervise research students and undertake administrative duties for the School. The posts are available from 1 September 2007.
>LECTURER in INTERNATIONAL SECURITY
>You will have research interests in the field of international security and contribute to the delivery of BA and MA programmes in the areas of international relations, terrorism, conflict and security studies.
