Good Morning All! (Apologies for cross-posting. This is a repeat of an earlier email with
1 significant update - Mathematica 6 has been released.)

We are seeking reviewers for future MSOR Connections newsletters. If
you would like to review any of the products listed below from a UK HE
teaching and learning perspective for a possible published review in
MSOR Connections, please email me your expression of interest/details (if you have
not done so already) to [log in to unmask]

Some background info on the MSOR Connections newsletter and details of
submitting reviews is available in our Author Guidelines at:

http://www.mathstore.ac.uk/newsletter/guidelines/author.pdf

(Also, if you and/or your colleagues are using any software/technology
which you think would be of interest to the wider maths, stats and
operational UK HE teaching/learning academic community, and you would
like to tell us about it, we could feature it in an MSOR Connections
article and/or our TechWatch pages at:
http://mathstore.ac.uk/techwatch/index.shtml)

I hope you find the summary useful and look forward to hearing from
all interested potential reviewers...........Thanks in
advance...........Robert S

2 Maple 11 - the new version recently launched! "Maple 11 is the
leading tool for engineers and scientists to streamline and increase
the quality of all their analytical work. Whether you need to do quick
calculations, develop design sheets, or produce sophisticated high
fidelity simulation models, Maple 11 provides the necessary technology
to reduce error and dramatically increase your analytical
productivity."

3. Maple T.A. 3.0 - "Maple T.A. is an easy-to-use web-based system
for creating tests and assignments, automatically assessing student
responses and performance. It supports complex, free-form entry of
mathematical equations and intelligent evaluation of responses, making
it ideal for mathematics, science or any other course that requires
mathematics. "

7. Autograph 3.1 - "Teaching secondary and college mathematics with
dynamic software is more effective, more efficient and more fun, for
both teacher and student.

Autograph leads the way in the use of dependent, selectable
mathematical objects to help students get to grips with the principles
of probability and statistics, and coordinate geometry, in both 2D and
3D.

The new version 3 is Interactive Whiteboard friendly - with its own
drawing overlay tools. The Autograph interface has been completely
overhauled, with a new toolbar system and other new features."
