Calling all Maui gurus here...
Glasgow's MAUI config is loosely based on the principal that the less
we do with it the better. So, we have the essentials in, namely
target shares based on each group and a single job slot reserved for
ops/dteam jobs[1].
There is a user share parameter, but that's turned down quite low as
I did not want favour "ordinary" ATLAS users over atlasprd.
However, things are getting a bit more contentious these days, so I
want to introduce more user level fairsharing. But, keeping in mind
the above, I want to give a larger share to atlasprd as compared to
the normal atlas pool accounts - say 50% going to prd with fairly
aggressive balancing between the melee of other users.
Obviously this is possible, but are there any tips to doing this in
the most straightforward way which gives the least possibility of
maui getting its knickers in a twist?
As ever the maui documentation appears both scant and unhelpful...
Cheers
Graeme
