Kasper, I thought you were an old man! I just read through the thread in
question & thought it typical of the sort of misunderstandings that can
emerge very easily in email discussions. In general, bitchy bantering
doesn't work very well, or is easily misunderstood in this medium. That
said, it's worth the occasional blow-up, I think, to have honest
discussions. We don't want to sink into sterility & senescence, after all.
I've said it before & I'll say it again, though: if one posts creative work
here the response can run the gamut from silence to strong criticism. As
long as criticism is focused on the work it falls within our very broad
guidelines.
Posting this, by the way, standing half-way between my role as list member &
list manager.
