Following the awareness days held recently at the National Archives, the National Preservation Office would like to offer a similar event in Scotland, based at UKArchiving, Sighthill, Edinburgh. The provisional date is 8 June. The event will be confirmed if there is sufficient demand. At this stage, I am asking all who would be interested in attending to contact me by email [log in to unmask] .

Time: 11 am-4pm.
Speakers from the NPO Preservation Microfilm Group will cover a range of topics, including British Standards, good practice based on the NPO Guide to Preservation Microfilming, training for operators, quality assurance and the implications of digitisation.
