Hi Mark,
How do I go about doing installing the etch VTK? I tried to change
/etc/apt/sources.list, like so:
deb http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/ etch main
deb-src http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/ etch main
deb http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/ etch contrib
deb http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/ etch non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main
deb http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates contrib
deb-src http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main
deb http://apsy.gse.uni-magdeburg.de/debian etch main non-free
deb-src http://apsy.gse.uni-magdeburg.de/debian etch main non-free
followed by these:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libvtk5-dev fsl-fslview
but, fslview still gives this message:
fslview: error while loading shared libraries:
libvtkMPEG2Encode.so.5.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file
or directory
Do you think moving the mpeg2-encode libs to non-free has something to
do with it? I installed debian only after the 7th of April, after etch
became stable.
Regards,
Johan
