The aim of the course is to introduce participants to basic statistical
concepts and methods commonly applied in medicine, to facilitate
understanding and to enable appropriate application and interpretation of
these statistical methods.
This course is aimed at individuals who are required to interpret and/or
conduct basic statistical analyses commonly applied in medical research.
Applications are invited from researchers (clinical and non-clinical) and
health care professionals. The course does assume some familiarity with
statistical terminology (e.g. P values, confidence intervals) but does not
assume any level of understanding.
